About Me
I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia where I developed a fascination with how things work from a very young age. I loved taking apart toys and electronics to understand their inner workings. As I got older, I started repairing items around the house for my family – everything from leaky faucets to broken lamps.
In 2010, I moved to London to attend university where I studied mechanical engineering. During my studies, I took on side jobs repairing appliances and furniture for other students to earn some extra money. I found that I had a real knack and passion for repair work.
After graduating, I spent a few years working as an engineer for a manufacturing company. However, I realized my true calling was in repair services as that allowed me to directly help people and use my hands-on skills daily. In 2018, I officially launched my own repair business – Kirill’s Repairs.
Over the past few years, I’ve completed hundreds of jobs all around the London area. I take immense pride in my work and strive to provide excellent service to every customer. My attention to detail, extensive technical knowledge, and commitment to using the right tools and techniques result in repairs that last.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife Elena and our two kids Mikhail and Katarina. I also have a passion for chess, skiing, and woodworking in my free time.

Pricing
At Kirill’s Repairs, I believe in upfront and affordable pricing with no surprise fees. Every repair job is individually assessed to provide an accurate estimate.
My pricing consists of two main components – labor rates and parts/materials costs:
Labor Rates
- Standard service call fee – £45
This covers my initial visit to your home or workplace to assess the repair needs. If you decide to proceed with the repair after my assessment, this fee is waived.
- Hourly labor rate – £65/hour
This is my base rate for hands-on repair work billed in 15-minute increments after the first hour. Simple repairs may take as little as 1 hour, while more complex jobs may require additional time.
- Emergency/after-hours rate – £90/hour
For repairs requiring immediate attention outside of standard business hours (nights, weekends, holidays), I charge a higher hourly rate.
Parts & Materials
In addition to labor, you’ll only pay the direct cost for any parts, materials or supplies required for the repair with no markup. More expensive components like appliance control boards or specialty furniture pieces will incur higher parts costs.
When you request service, I’ll provide an upfront estimate so you’ll know the full price before any work begins. My rates are very competitive compared to other repair services in London.

Warranties & Guarantees
All repairs include a 90-day warranty on materials and labor provided by Kirill’s Repairs. If the same issue occurs during that time, I’ll fix it again at no additional cost.
